I’ve got the start of a story and I’m not sure what to do with it.
Which got me thinking about my Collaborative Writing idea again.
I want to work on my writing. I want to create stories, more than that I want to create dreams that people can inhabit. I want a great many things and the only way to get there is to write.
So here’s the idea I’ve got: Every other Monday I will post something that I’ve written, a story, a chapter, the start of a parable, maybe even the outline of a novel. It will more than likely be unfinished and I may end up asking for your input and your ideas on what I can do with it. Maybe I’ll explain what I was trying to do, maybe I’ll just give you what I have and ask for your thoughts on what’s going on and who these people are. I don’t know yet and I think it will probably change from week to week.
The first Monday for this will be Monday September 10th. (It’ll give us something to look forward to on Mondays)
So it shall be and it will be known as the Interwoven Trope. (if we get enough interest I’ve got the domain locked down and we can turn it into its own site.)
This is more than me just dumping my creative morass on a page and wanting you to wallow in it with me. I want you to join me. If you write, if you want to write, or if you have thought of wanting to write (everyone in their 30′s has), I want you to take up this banner, cry havoc and let slip the dogs of your creative mind. If you don’t have a website, guest post your writing here. If you do, let me know that you’ve joined me in this and I will make a point to visit yours and we shall form a collaborative of our own. Contact me or comment if you want to partake in whatever way you’d like, or take and use the #InterwovenTrope tag. (It could be big, you never know. When it does you could say you were there when it all began)
So look for upcoming stories, chapters, or snippets and grant me and my fellow writers the freedom to be genuine, true, and vulnerable.
