Chicken – Land Born Blowfish?

Voltron, only with chicken breasts.

Chicken is a very dangerous food.

You buy some … who knows how long it’ll last? There’s a date on the package. Is it a Through date like “Through October 15th”? Or is it a It’ll Go Bad On date? Who comes up with these dates anyway?

More importantly, what happens when that date comes to pass? Do the chicken breasts assemble and form the Boneless Skinless Three Breasted Voltron? Does it suddenly become deadly to cook and eat like a land-born blowfish? I guess I could look up a lot of information on this but the conjecture is far more entertaining.

These are things I think about when I’m away visiting my parents and I remember that I left a package of chicken in the refrigerator and can’t remember what the expiration date was.

Turns out it was the 15th which is tonight (yesterday if you’re reading this) … I threw them in a bag and put it in the freezer.

And now we wait.
